Kailee Update #2 on 4/8/08 |

The histology report finally came in. The surgeon removed Kailee's right kidney and a 2-3 pound Wilm's tumor last Thursday. The tumor came back as a Stage 2 tumor because it broke the renal capsule but they got it all! She will still have to do Chemo for 18 weeks, but it is the lesser kind and no radiation. She will still have the awful side effects that come with chemo so we may all be getting hair cuts. The 4 year overall survival rate with chemo is 96% which is great considering it is cancer. We thank you for all your prayers and gifts. Please keep praying for Kailee Grace during her 18 week treatment.
